The mystery of trees and their secret lives has always intrigued me- almost the same way as rocks!
As a young girl growing up in Lincoln Massachusetts, I use to ride my horse into the tall pines and listen to the whispers sliding through the pine needles. Later in life, I was introduced to Bonsai and its peaceful zen state of mind. Digging in the dirt for stones, planting ferns and attaching myself to nature has been a life long passion and when it found Ryan’s sculpture I knew I had found another unique collaboration!
A few years back, while Dawn was working on a Thoughtforms Corp and Zen Associates home, her curiosity for bonsai and native plants exploded. Feeling the achy threat of winter winds, Dawn extracted stones from her personal collection and reached out to artist Ryan Kelley to help her ease from Summer into Winter.

Dawn has a massive rock collection that she has been collecting for her future gallery and these little gems were getting a little dusty.
