The Give and Take of Mentoring in the World of Luxury Homes
Designer and HGTV regular Taniya Nayak, whose work can be seen at nightspots Abby Lane and Julep Bar, joined Grammy-winner Patti Austin on Monday afternoon for a talk about design and mentoring. “Designing the Next Generation — The Give and Take of Mentoring” was hosted at the Boston Design Center as part of the second annual Boston Design Week, which runs through Sunday. Austin cofounded the Over My Shoulder Foundation, which promotes cross-cultural and cross-generational mentoring.
